2026 Pheasant Challenge
Support the legacy of upland hunting at Hullett Marsh
The Pheasant Challenge remains the essential fundraiser for the public pheasant hunt at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area. Operating entirely without government funding, this program relies on the pheasant hunter community and local partners to help sustain the tradition within Zone B.

For the 2026 season, we are thrilled to confirm that our long-time regular sponsors, Clinton Sporting Goods and Sommers Generator Systems, are back to support the cause. Their continued partnership is a testament to the strength of this local initiative.

The impact of your support is clear: this year, we plan to release 1,189 birds, matching the incredible 1,189 tickets sold during last year’s challenge. With 1,200 tickets available for 2026, we have the historic opportunity to sell out for the first time ever. Reaching this milestone would ensure the strongest future yet for the release program and the upland hunting community at the Marsh.
Rules and Prizes
The Pheasant Challenge raffle is operated by the Friends of Hullett as a fun recreation event, and all participants must adhere to the following guidelines:

All Fish & Wildlife Conservation Act rules and regulations thereunder apply and must be strictly followed.

The winner of the shotgun must present a valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) to claim the prize.

Tickets must be purchased in advance of the draw.

All prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash substitutions.

The random draw for the 1st prize shotgun and 2nd prize generator will take place on January 20th, 2027, at 2:00 PM.

All prizes must be claimed by February 26th, 2027.

Failure to comply with these rules and regulations will render the ticket null and void.
